Lifespan can be extended by clean water backwashing

Back flush can rinse away impurities that membrane has filtered from water. We set a silicone gasket around mouthpiece. A handy bottle can be covered on gasket for backflushing without leakage. You don't need to keep a syringe on the go anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How often should I backwash the system?

It depends on how dirty your water source is. If you notice the water flow slowing down, it’s time for a backwash to improve the flow. (Pro tip: To make your filter last longer, always use the cleanest water source available. If the water is murky, let the sediment settle before filtering the clearer water on top.)

2. Can I use filtered water to backwash the system?

Yes! Just collect some clean, filtered water in a disposable bottle and squeeze it back into the filter outlet to flush it out.

3. How do I know when to replace the filter?

When the filter reaches its limit, it will no longer allow water to flow. If the water trickles or stops completely, it’s time for a replacement.

4. Does this filter remove E.coli and parasites like Giardia and Cryptosporidium?

Absolutely! The Miniwell L630 filters out 99.9% of bacteria and parasites, keeping your drinking water safe.

5. Will this filter improve the taste of water?

The hollow fiber membrane removes bacteria, but it won’t eliminate bad taste or color from water. If you're looking for better-tasting water, check out the Miniwell L610, L600, or L620 models.

6. Can this filter remove salt from seawater?

Nope! The L630 has a 0.1-micron filter, which blocks bacteria but lets dissolved salt pass through. It’s designed for fresh water only.
